JOIN OUR CROWDFUNDING

From collective cooking once a week for a month in other people's space since February 2025 in Porto, we're now growing into our next big milestone: collectively running and funding our own space for one single month to practice cooking, arts and crafts and commoning.

BY MONDAY, JUNE 5TH, 12PM

The negotiation with the spaces matching our criteria has been intense in the last weeks, to say the least. And here are now our options:

1. We found the ideal space. Matching all the criteria.
The downside: it comes with a monthly rent excl. utilities of 2000€. 
Considering the rent is realistically too high for our non-commercial project, Sophia has declined it, making a lower yet fair counteroffer to the host; they rejected it. Ready for the possibility of not collaborating with this space, we ultimately thought of a last chance scenario: what if we raise enough money in a short amount of time? We could then cover this rent and run the residency. 
This is why we need you. To help us make the decision. If enough of us come together, we can make it happen. If we reach at least 1300€ out of the 2000€, by Monday June 2nd 5th, 12pm (highly possible we'll need to postpone again), it means we can make it happen. Let's prove Sophia wrong!

2. We need to find another space in such a short amount of time... lefting us with low chances to find a space. If you know someone who rents a space, reach out!

3. We need to cancel the residency for now. Unless you have a better option.

PRACTICALLY, HOW DOES THIS WORK TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CROWDFUNDING?

1. You take part in the residency:
Based in Porto for the duration of the residency, you can join as a member of the collective, as a friend or as a mentor. Apply to the open call anytime and contribute financially based on your income. 

2. You are not taking part in the residency, your availability or location do not allow it
Your availability or location don't allow you to participate in the residency, yet you do want to contribute financially and support the project. Donate money to support us reach 1300€.
Email us to discuss how we can support you in return. For instance, we could support with the visibility for your own projects, as long as it aligns with the post-growth principles.

If we don't reach the goal on time, everyone whon contributed will be contacted and all contributions will be subject to a refund.
